NJIVICE.CO.RS

Njivice is situated on the south-west coast of Herceg Novi bay in Boka Kotorska - Montenegro, with a view to the town of Herceg Novi and Orjen Mountain, on 42°26'05'' geographic latitude and 018°30'53'' geographic longitude.

It is a small and peaceful place without a usual flurry of the city. The sun here sets somewhat earlier than in Herceg Novi, which in itself brings about colder nights and opportunities for pleasant walks, sport activities, socializing or relaxation.

Owing to its microclimate, Njivice abounds in vegetation that is fascinating due to its exotic origin, diversity and beauty.
You may encounter here fruits that you have never heard of or have never seen in their natural beauty, such as Japanese medlar, jujube, kiwi, banana or service tree.

Although geographically slightly isolated, Njivice has got organized bus transport to Herceg Novi in course of the entire year. In summer months there are also numerous boats and ships that offer tourists transportation to various beach resorts and tourist attractions, such as Dobreč, Mamula, Žanjice, Plava Špilja (The Azure cave) and Rose.

Also, famous seaside towns of Risan, Perast and Kotor, which deserve the attention of all that love history, culture, art and entertainment, are only 20 to 45 km away from Njivice.
In addition, after the liberalization of visa regime, it is possible to make an outing to the ancient town of Dubrovnik, which is only 45 km away.

Still, for some a disadvantage and for others an advantage, the opportunities for nightlife are scarce. Those who are looking for nightlife, either go to Igalo (4km) or Herceg Novi (7 km), which abound in discotheques (disco clubs), bars, clubs and other forms of entertainment, so that there is something for everyone.

During the entire year (especially in summer), various festivals and concerts are being organized, such as The Mimosa Festival, The Festival of film direction (Film festival), Music festival “Sunčane Skale”, Techno festival “Entrance” in Rose and other exhibitions, performances, etc.

Many regular visitors say that they have visited many places in the world, but that only in Boka, and especially in Njivice, the sea and air have such intoxicating and pleasing scent, and seafood such comely and natural aroma. On the whole, it can be said that Njivice visitors are rather uncompromising, tending to either become infatuated with it and keep coming back, or quite the opposite. Lastly, we hope that this Internet presentation will help you make up your mind and choose your preferred option.
